From Idea to Reality: My First Game Is Here 🙌

Hello, friends. My name is Nopal Bah, and I’m from Indonesia. This is my first time on itch.io, and I don’t know what to talk about. This is the first release of my game. I’m really excited that my first game is being released on the itch.io platform and that I’m trying to release it on the App Store. I know it’s a bit reckless for a first release, and I have to pay up front. But I just want to try and gain some experience—I think it’s worth understanding how it works. I’m afraid my curiosity will consume me until I’m old, so I’m taking the plunge. I made this game with all the knowledge I learned from YouTube and from experts when I was working before. I’m financially frugal. So, when I made this game, I made everything original, even though some of it was inspired by references I incorporated.

3D Blender My 3D skills aren’t as good as those of professional 3D artists out there. But as a game developer, I’m quite happy to create everything from scratch. The internet and YouTube are my greatest teachers. Modeling, rigging, animation—I learned and created everything myself as my first project. At my previous workplace, I was assigned a task involving 3D. Even though it was sudden, I studied and managed to grasp the basics of 3D. So when it came to 3D modeling, I could do it.

Unity I mentioned that the internet and YouTube are my teachers. However, I also didn’t forget about courses to build my foundation in programming. If I said I understand and know programming, that’s not true. I’m still confused about how to create good and correct problem-solving methods. I just think that as long as the program runs according to our expectations, it’s okay, haha. But I want to reduce habits like that. My boss once said that tracing is the most crucial thing to know where the error is. If the logic doesn’t work, try changing it and creating your own logic so that this function works as it should.

Conclusion This topic might not be relevant. But I just want to express my joy at having published my first game. Maybe this game looks familiar. That will be my input for the next project, so I can make something even better. I consider myself a junior. So, I hope that I can make something better than this. Last, I want to start and make what I can first. Whether it’s good or bad is a matter for later. Because I like making things that I want to make.

And Sorry, My English is so Bad :DD

Thank you!
